The distribution board accepts power from a CEE power socket and distributes it to CEE and Schuko outlets for equipment. Input and output specifications — as per product data sheets:

PCE distribution boards are available in single units, so availability for your date is confirmed in the quote. The PCE enclosure has a protection rating of IP20 according to the data sheet, meaning no water protection — outdoors it requires a sheltered spot away from rain.

CEE cables and splitters — three-phase
Red CEE 5-pin connectors carry three-phase 400 V power. You run power cables from the venue's supply connection to the distribution board near the stage. All cables listed below are H07RN-F rubber (as per product data sheets):

230 V extension cables and splitters — single-phase
For a standard Schuko 230 V socket in the venue: event extension cable on a rubber cord and splitters with Schuko sockets. IP65 versions with RCD 30 mA (per product data sheets) are for outdoor use.

A splitter does not increase socket capacity: all devices connected to the same extension cable share the same circuit in the venue.
How many amps a kit needs — how to calculate it
Current is calculated from the power rating specified by the device manufacturer:
- single phase (230 V): current = power ÷ 230 V. A 16 A circuit is 230 V × 16 A = 3 680 W.
- three phases (400 V): power ≈ √3 × 400 V × current. CEE 16A is approx. 11 kW, CEE 32A — approx. 22 kW, CEE 63A — approx. 43 kW (these are also the values from our cable data sheets). Each of the three phases is a separate 230 V.

How to read this: 23.3 A is more than a single 16 A circuit. Such a kit needs to be distributed across several circuits or powered from a three-phase CEE 32A socket via a distribution board — distributed evenly across three phases it gives approx. 7.8 A per phase. "1/8 power" is, according to QSC, typical music with occasional clipping; at louder operation the draw is higher. The example does not include DJ players and mixer.
This is an indicative calculation, not an installation design. Which connection point and which circuits of the venue can be used is decided by the venue and its licensed electrician. We include a list of equipment with their power ratings with the quote, so the venue can confirm this.
Outdoor use and battery power
Outdoors, choose IP65 splitters with 30 mA RCD and Power Pack 16A IP – outdoor / outdoor. Part of the lighting runs on a built-in battery, so fewer cables are needed when decorating a garden or entrance. Battery runtime depends on brightness settings — we provide it according to manufacturer data on the product card:

What is the difference between single-phase and three-phase power supply?
Single-phase is a standard 230 V socket (Schuko) — a 16 A circuit gives 230 V × 16 A = 3 680 W. Three-phase is a red CEE 400 V socket with 5 pins: at 16 A that is approx. 11 kW, because power ≈ √3 × 400 V × current. The distribution board splits the three phases into 230 V sockets for the equipment.
What do CEE 16A, 32A and 63A mean?
This is the rated current of the connector. For three-phase 400 V power supply, this gives approx. 11 kW (16A), approx. 22 kW (32A) and approx. 43 kW (63A) — these values are also shown on our CEE cable data sheets. We rent CEE 16A, 32A and 63A cables and distribution boards with 32A and 63A inputs.
What power supply is needed for a DJ kit?
The sound system with Classic DJ Set (4× QSC LA108, 2× KS118, 2× K10.2) draws approx. 7.6 A at 1/8 power according to QSC data, meaning typical music playback; more at higher output. Players and a mixer add to that. This is less than a 16 A circuit, but other devices at the venue may be running on the same circuit — the venue confirms which circuit to use.
What power supply is needed for a small stage with lighting?
Example: Classic DJ Set sound system (approx. 7.6 A) + 4× Chauvet Intimidator Hybrid 251SR (4 × 2.3 A) + Tour Hazer II (1500 W ÷ 230 V ≈ 6.5 A) totals approx. 23.3 A — more than a single 16 A circuit. Such a kit is split across several circuits or powered from a CEE 32A socket via a distribution board.
What power supply is needed for an LED screen?
The power draw of an LED screen depends on the model and number of modules, so we calculate it in the quote based on manufacturer data. For stage and LED, the Power Distribution Pro 63A/32A package is available, accepting 63A input and distributing it across 32A zones.
Who connects the distribution board to the power supply at the venue?
The power connection at the venue and the circuits available for use are designated by the venue or its authorised electrician — they decide on the connection. Do you have a generator?
No — we do not carry generators in our catalogue. The power source is provided by the venue or the organiser; we supply distribution boards and cables from the connection point to the equipment.
Are the distribution boards suitable for outdoor use?
PCE distribution boards are rated IP20 according to their datasheets, meaning no water protection — outdoors they require a sheltered location. For outdoor use, there are splitters with IP65 sockets and 30 mA RCD, as well as the Power Pack 16A IP kit.
How much does delivery and rental for several days cost?
Delivery and collection within Warsaw start from 300 PLN net (369 PLN gross) for both trips; delivery with installation and removal starts from 1,000 PLN net (1,230 PLN gross) in total. Pick-up and return at Gocław is 0 PLN. The first day (24h) is charged at the full rate; each additional day (24h) costs 50% of that rate. Delivery to Masovia is priced in the quote.
