The video switcher routes the feed from cameras and the presenter's laptop, then sends the final program to the stream, to the screens in the venue, and to the recording. We have two hardware Blackmagic ATEM switchers and a production computer running vMix:

ATEM or vMix? Blackmagic ATEM Mini sufficient for a simple stream from 2–4 sources to Zoom, Teams or a streaming application. Blackmagic ATEM Mini Extreme ISO streams on its own, without a computer, and individual recording of each camera simplifies post-production editing. vMix Pro Media Server add it when you need graphics, playback or remote guests — the feed from ATEM goes into vMix via USB. You connect the presenter's laptop to the third HDMI input of the mixer. The output image goes via USB to the computer with Zoom, Teams, or OBS — if you don't have a streaming computer, you can rent one from us Presentation laptop.

We select cables for tripod-mounted cameras based on the distance from the production desk (see below). You can add graphics, playback, and remote guests with vMix Pro Media Server — 500 zł net (615 zł gross) per day (24h).
Camera rental for events — Sony and Blackmagic
For streaming, it's not just the image that matters, but also the video output: HDMI connects directly to the ATEM mixer, while SDI allows you to route the signal further (via a converter or a mixer with SDI inputs).

Long video signal runs: HDMI, SDI and converters
Up to 30 m from the production desk is sufficient HDMI Active 4K (30 m) – long run — 80 zł net (98,40 zł gross) per day (24h). Beyond that, we run the signal over SDI: Blackmagic Micro Converter HDMI → SDI at the camera, BNC HD-SDI 50 m on a reel (80 zł net (98,40 zł gross)) and Blackmagic Micro Converter SDI → HDMI at the mixer. Shorter runs: BNC HD-SDI 10 m.

Manufacturer-stated range applies to open space with no obstacles — walls, stage structures and the audience reduce it. For longer distances, an SDI cable is preferable.

Lighting for the presenter and preview
The camera needs even light on the presenter's face. Elation KL Panel is a soft LED panel with adjustable color temperature, DMX-controlled — 300 zł net (369 zł gross) per day (24h); to limit light spill, add Elation KL Panel Snapgrid 40°. For a multiview preview at the production desk: TV IIyama ProLite X40 on FlexStand + Gravity VESA 1. Broadcast equipment price list for 1–4 days (24h)
Net and gross prices (incl. 23% VAT); each additional day (24h) is charged at 50% of the first-day rate. Days (24h) are counted by handover and return dates.

Frequently asked questions
ATEM mixer or vMix — which to choose?
ATEM is a hardware mixer with physical buttons: cameras connect via HDMI cables, and switching is straightforward and independent of a computer. vMix is software running on a production computer: it adds graphics, video playback, and remote guests connecting through a browser (vMix Call). We often combine both — ATEM switches cameras, and its output feeds into vMix via USB as if it were a webcam signal.
How many cameras are needed for a conference live stream?
For a single speaker at a podium, two cameras usually suffice: a wide shot of the stage and a close-up of the speaker, plus the presentation feed from a laptop. For a panel discussion or audience questions, a third camera is added — often mobile, with wireless video transmission. Write to us with the agenda and venue — we will propose a layout in the quote.
Can I stream to YouTube, Facebook, or Teams with your equipment?
Yes. ATEM Mini Extreme ISO streams directly over Ethernet to services such as YouTube or Facebook. Any ATEM Mini mixer connected via USB works on your computer as a webcam, so you can select the mixer output as a camera in Zoom, Microsoft Teams, or OBS. The internet connection is provided by the venue — check in advance whether it is wired and what upload speed it offers.
How does the director communicate with camera operators?
For communications, we have the Hollyland Solidcom C1 Pro wireless intercom (kit for 4 persons) and Kenwood Pro Talk walkie-talkies for the technical crew. The Blackmagic Studio Camera 4K Pro G2 also has a talkback headset input.
How far can the camera be from the production desk?
Via HDMI cable — up to 30 m (active 30 m cable). For longer runs, we carry the signal over SDI: an HDMI → SDI converter at the camera, a 50 m SDI cable on a drum, and an SDI → HDMI converter at the mixer. You can connect a roaming camera wirelessly via the Hollyland Mars transmitter — the manufacturer's range applies to line of sight with no obstacles; walls and crowds reduce it.
Do the cameras come with lenses?
Sony Z150 has a built-in zoom lens and is ready to use. For Sony FX6, FX3, FX30, and A7III, you choose an E-mount lens — our catalogue includes, among others, Sony FE PZ 28–135 mm f/4 G and FE PZ 16–35 mm f/4 G. The exact camera kit configuration is confirmed in the offer.
Do you rent equipment with or without an operator?
Both options. You can pick up the equipment at Gocław or order delivery. If you need crew, we add a technician or broadcast director — quoted as a separate line in the offer.
What does delivery and setup cost?
Delivery and collection within Warsaw cost 300 PLN net (369 PLN gross) for both trips (door-to-door, no carrying inside). Delivery with setup and breakdown is 1,000 PLN net (1,230 PLN gross) in total — delivery is already included. Pick-up and return at Gocław cost 0 PLN. Delivery to Masovia is quoted in the offer.
What does rental for several days cost, and are prices net?
The first day (24h) is the full rate; each additional day (24h) costs 50% of that rate. Example for equipment at 1,000 PLN net: 2 days (24h) — 1,500 PLN net (1,845 PLN gross), 3 days (24h) — 2,000 PLN net (2,460 PLN gross). We quote both amounts: net and gross (VAT 23%). No deposit — you pay via pro forma invoice before equipment is released.
